PKS

PKS, fibrous material, brownish-yellow in colour and with particle sizes normally ranging between 5mm and 40mm is a by-product in the production of palm oil and is commonly used in the natural biomass energy industry.

EFB

Empty fruit bunch fibre is a non-hazardous, biodegradable material that is produced from empty fruit bunches. It is considered as waste after the extraction oil palm fruits. The fibres are clean, noncarcinogenic, and free from pesticides and soft parenchyma cells.

MCF

MCF is a non-hazardous, biodegradable material that is produced from empty fruit bunches.  It is a fibrous oily pulp that surrounds the nut and is covered by a thin smooth skin (exocarp). MCF also can be referred as palm-pressed fiber.

EFB Charcoal Briquettes

The properties of the Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) charcoal briquettes are comparable to those of commercial sawdust charcoal briquettes. With the increasing global interest in renewable energy fuels, and the decreasing sawdust supply, EFB fibre is a viable alternative raw material for the production of biomass charcoal briquettes.
